ClMCAS Renovate Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Recycle Facility, Naval Station 

Client: NAVFAC SE, PWD Mayport, Mayport, Florida

Project Description: 8(a) Sole Source. The Statement of Work included structural repairs and renovations to a 60’X 120’ metal warehouse-type MWR Recycle building. Structural repairs include repairing and replacing damaged galvanized truss columns, damaged roof trusses and bottom girt members. The project also included repairs to overhead roll-up doors, replacing damaged siding and adding gutters and downspouts.

Relocate Transformer and Test/Remediate Contaminated Soil, Ribault Bay Naval Housing 

Client:  NAVFAC SE, PWD Mayport, Atlantic Beach, FL

Project Description: 8(a) sole source set aside.  The Statement of Work included the testing and removal of soil contaminated by 20 gallons of non-PCB mineral oil, which was spilled when a transformer exploded in 2006. The project included the relocation of the transformer and rerouting of electrical lines to the switch box and breaker panels. Once the transformer was relocated, the contaminated soil was excavated and the walls and ground water were tested to ensure TRPH contaminants were contained to the area of soil which was removed.

 Clearing and Grubbing Service Contract, Marine Corps Air Station(MCAS) 

Client:   NAVFAC SE, PWD Engineering, Beaufort, SC

Project Description: 8(a) sole source set aside.  The Statement of Work included the clearing and grubbing over 10 acres of forest adjacent to the Marine Corps Air Field.  All stumps, roots and existing debris were removed.  Area was graded to existing drainage and covered with hydro-seed.

Demolition of Buildings 204(Marine Corps Exchange) &416(Barracks) at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) 

Client:   NAVFAC SE, ROICC Beaufort and PWD Parris Island, SC

Project Description: 8(a) sole source set aside.  The Statement of Work includes the demolition, removal and site restoration of two buildings; Building 204 (pre-engineered metal and brick one story building, approx. 46,500 sf) and Building 416 (CMU and brick three-story building, approx. 7,133 sf/floor). Both buildings are built on piles which will be removed as part of the scope.  The scope includes removal of hazardous materials (evidence of asbestos and lead paint is present in each building).  Site restoration will include backfill, compaction, site grading to ensure proper drainage and seeding and sodding.

Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Radar Dome Demolition

Client:   NAVFAC SE, ROICC Beaufort and PWD Parris Island, SC

Project Description: Blakeland Construction was awarded a contract from NAVFAC SE, Beaufort Branch to perform the Demolition of the Radar Dome. Blakeland utilized two contractors. Contract is complete.

Electrical Transformer Cabinet Replacement

Client:  NAVFAC SE, PWD Mayport, Atlantic Beach, FL

Project Description: Blakeland Construction was awarded a contract from NAVFAC SE, Mayport Branch to perform the fabrication and installation of transformer cabinet . Blakeland utilized one contractor. Contract is complete.

NAVFAC Jacksonville Waterproofing Naval Hospital

Client: NAS Jacksonville

Project Description: Blakeland Construction was awarded a contract from NAVFAC SE, Jacksonville to perform the NAS Galley (fixing cracks and weatherproofing) of the Naval Hospital. Blakeland utilized one contractor. Project is ongoing.

Repairs at NAVSEA CBRD Support Trailer

Client: NAVFAC SE, PWD Mayport, Atlantic Beach, FL

Project Description: Remove existing and replace with new generator, fuel tanks, hose and fitting, and batteries. Remove existing locks and knobs. Provide a new generator, fuel tank, hose and fitting. Project is ongoing.

Parris Island Range Operations Facilty Marine Corps Recruit Depot

Client: NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, ROICC Beaufort and PWD Parris Island, SC

Project Description: The work includes a new building with related site developed and related incidental work. New one story 1600 square feet building for the Marksman Training Unit. Site work, equipment pads and sidewalks. New mechanical, plumbing, electrical system, and fire alarm. Project is ongoing.
